Andover State Bank Names New President: Chamberlin Joins Leadership Team

Andover, Kan. — Andover State Bank, a full-service community bank serving Andover and Wichita for more than 90 years, today announced that Brian Chamberlin, former Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of RelianzBank, will join Andover State Bank as President.

“We’re excited about the addition of Brian to our leadership team,” said Kirk McConachie, Chairman of the Board at Andover State Bank. “As a locally-owned community bank, we’ve been searching for a President who fully understands the kind of relationship banking we’ve offered for more than 90 years. We’ve found that in Brian and I’m excited to work with him to continue our legacy of providing the best customer service in the communities we serve.”

Chamberlin has more than 18 years of experience as a commercial banker and business leader in the Wichita community. He started his financial services career with Fourth Financial Corporation (the holding company of Bank IV) and held various roles throughout the organization before his appointment to Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending. Most recently, Chamberlin served as Executive Vice President and Chief Credit Officer of RelianzBank, a de novo community bank in Wichita, chartered in 2005. Chamberlin is a 1984 graduate of Brigham Young University with a B.S. in Finance.

“Brian is a perfect fit for Andover State Bank and our customers,” said Allison McConachie Grace, Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President and fourth-generation Board Member. “We approached Brian because we were looking for an experienced banker to lead Andover State Bank into the 21st century. His vast experience in management and lending better positions us to be competitive and unique in an aggressive banking market.”

“Andover State Bank is a trusted name in the community and I’m thrilled to join the leadership team,” Chamberlin said. “Andover State Bank offers more than just deposit locations, it offers relationship banking focused on finding the best way to serve its individual customers and business clients right here in the community. I’m excited about the opportunity to work with Kirk, Allison and the entire Andover State Bank team.”

Kirk McConachie, President and Chairman of the Board of Andover State Bank for more than 25 years, will continue as an active Chairman involved with risk management and strategic planning responsibilities.
